I Wish …

Most of the time it is just a simple wish to have more time with us. Just as your little ones, they just want to spend more time with you.

I wish that I will always have the patience to wait for you and to walk side by side with you slowly so that I can be your support and walking stick.

I wish that I will always have the wisdom to understand your love and concern for me.

I wish that I will always shower you with unconditional love and acceptance as you have for me from the time I was born till now. You will always be a blessing and one of the greatest gifts in life.

I wish that I will always find time for you, no matter how busy I am.

No … don’t wish. We just have to do it.

I will always have the patience to wait for you and to walk side by side with you slowly so that I can be your support stick.

I will always have the wisdom to understand your love and concern for me.

I will always shower you with unconditional love and acceptance as you have for me from the time I was born till now. You will always be a blessing and one of the greatest gifts in life.

And last but not least, I will always find time for you no matter how busy I am.

Very thoughtful message… When all is said and done, what matters most is the time we spend with our loved ones, not whether we get that corner office, or a bigger house.

@ Henway, indeed; it is not about the corner house or bigger house and yet many mistaken quality time with their loved ones with material things.

@ Jacqueline, Thank you and wishing you love and joy for the Chinese New Year too.

@ Meleah, glad that you like it. 🙂

Hi BK .. so, so right – as I’ve learnt with my mother, who is bedridden, and with my uncle, who I was able to spend time with until he sadly died last year. It makes the world of difference to both.

I learn and they appreciate .. their lives are more important than ours for a while .. their sunset is their slowing time and preparedness for their future – we should allow them to go gracefully, without worries and in peace.

Great post – wonderful to read, and the video is so telling .. enjoy the weekend – Hilary

Hi there… its sthg emotional to read and recollect but when talking abt reality, it really bites… thus at times, humans tend to go towards materialism than unconditional love!…
It can only be well written and said, but it is still a reality world than a FAIRY tale world like living in the Snow white/Cindrella world.. hehehe…

@ housewife9988, there is always two sides to a coin; always good and bad. I do not deny the presence of what you mentioned. I choose to focus on the positive energy around me and to always remind myself. As what I believe from Gandhi, Change should and MUST come from ourselves first. We can continue to live in Snow white/Cindrella world as a fairy tale world or we can create one in the real world.
