Always Kiss Your Children Goodnight
I was thinking of the incidence which happened in the US recently and I was looking for something to share in Symphony of Love’s Facebook page when I came across this quote by H. Jackson Jr., “Always kiss your children goodnight, even if they’re already asleep.”
As we come to the end of the day when we send the little ones to their beds, do we remember to also give them a goodnight kiss?
“Don’t worry, there is always tomorrow night to give them a goodnight kiss.“, said the devil.
The angel said, “Just do it now! We’re not always guaranteed of tomorrow.”
Remembering the recent incidence, I hoped the families have the chance to kiss their little ones when they went to bed the night before. With deepest condolences, I wish to send love and hugs in this moment to all the children and families who were affected; my heart is with you.
Although I am not marry yet, I am grateful to have moments last night when I was kissed times and again by a toddler who was ever generous with his kisses. Slow down tonight, take a moment to go into the bedrooms of your children to kiss them goodnight. And as what Jen Hatmaker said, “… you will never have this day with your children again. Tomorrow, they’ll be a little older than they were today. This day is a gift …”
