Playing For Change: Song Around the World ‘One Love’
More Wordless Wednesday
I first saw this Youtube’s video at Dr. Susan Gregg’s Toltec Wisdom Blog and thought this is one wonderful video to share especially on Memorial Day. Peace through music? I believe that this is highly achievable. I have once thought of touching lives through music but I have not been good in music at this point yet and I do not sing so well … so maybe this option of touching lives is out for me.
Dr. Susan asked on her blog, “Wouldn’t it be nice to live in a world where war was no longer necessary?” Yes and it is certainly more than nice to live in a world with peace and harmony. Wars are always cruel and from history, we have learnt that they bring forth sufferings and destruction to people and the environment. Through love and respect for each other differences, living in peace and harmony is achievable.
From a quotation, which I have come across previously, “there is only one race - the Human Race.”

@ Tammy, sad to say it is a ‘war’ that we must fight to stop wars. But I believe that if everyone of us stop believing in war as a tool then there will be a day when peace exists.

Twould be an amazing thing. We have a long way to go yet though. Before we can have world peace, we have to erase world poverty and hunger. But I’m with you. It is achievable.

@ Ben, music is a wonderful medium to unite the world. Through this ‘common language,’ we can possibly reach mutual understand and love and respect for each other.
