A lot has been happening and changing recently that this post served as a reminder to myself that I, too, should not be discouraged.
Just as what Abraham Lincoln said, “Let no feeling of discouragement prey upon you, and in the end you are sure to succeed.” No matter what situation we may be experiencing right now, it certainly does not determine what we may be experiencing in the future – what truly matters is how we react to the situation and what we are doing our very best to make out of it.
I understand that it is challenging at times, especially when things are simply not going the way we wanted them to be and yet that feeling of discouragement serves little purpose and may, more often than not, make us feel even worse about ourselves. Just remember the time when we were all toddlers and were just learning to walk, fortunately, we did not let all those falling down determined our situations back then or we might have been destined to crawl all our lives.
Just the other day when I was traveling back home, a sudden realisation came to me, “I have learnt that there is a time for everything; we must have faith and continue to take massive action. Then we must also have patience – the flower will bloom in due time.” I cannot tell you when the time will come for the flower to bloom, but what I can certainly tell you is that if we decide to just wait for time to get better before taking action, then the time will surely not come. However, if we continue to plow ahead and not be discouraged, harvest is certain. Believe in ourselves.
One day, when we look back, some of the very best moments in our lives could very well be from these challenging moments that we are going through now. I wish for goodness in all areas of your life!
