Just this week, I received a forwarded WhatsApp message from a group chat attributing to Bill Gates, the co-founder and former CEO of Microsoft, titled ‘Bill Gates views in what is the Corona/Covid-19 Virus Really Teaching us?’ I remembered the first thing that came across my mind was, ‘Is it really written by Bill Gates?’ With the internet, it is not hard to verify this. From BuzzFeed News, a spokesperson for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation confirmed with them that the Microsoft cofounder did not say these words. Read more
